Wildlife Experiences in Africa

When I went on safari in 2007 one of the highlights was walking with lions in Zimbabwe.  It was such a privilege to see these amazing creatures on foot, and learn about the conservation efforts that the project was carrying out.

Whilst working for Sanctuary Retreats I have found out more about various conservation projects throughout Africa, including the Serengeti Cheetah Project, where visitors have the opportunity to not only spot cheetah, but share their photographs of sightings for research.  Read more about these unique wildlife experiences combined with conservation efforts in the full article on the travel blog Pommietravels.
